My Grandfather (papa) is like my father to me.. I just found out he is really sick and it is not going to get better. I am heartbroken right now.

Past Few days... 365

Starbucks, and a really good cupcake..
I won a 45 piece set of China
Had a root canal, and came home to the most comfty hoodie ever as a surprise from my husband!

Scrapbooking

I went to Micheals and also AC Moore and bought some new supplies for scrapbooking. I would like to complete my first page of 365 soon.

365

Today I bought a Crock Pot and also a cookbook for it. I never received it from my engagement party or my shower, so I picked it up on my own. Best part is, I had a coupon and gift card, so I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket! My mom used to make meals for our family from a crock pot and I also enjoyed them. I started to peek through some of the receipes and can't believe how much you can make from them.
I have been trying to cook at home more, and hopefully this will give me one more option. Tonight I made a salad a Jerk Chicken. Greg isn't home he is working his second job, so he can have it when he gets home, or maybe for lunch during the week.

Going Nutty

Greg and I and about 20 friends went to a bar in Bay Shore called The Nutty Irishman. It was great, and warmer then sitting at home with no heat! We had fun, it was nice to hang out and laugh. There was a cover band called The Zoo and it was pretty good.

No heat..

Our oil burner has a problem. My husbands dad has an emergency call into the oil company. But 28 hours later we still have no heat during the coldest week o the year so far.

Snow

I heard about Project 365 and I want to give it a try. I am starting late, and looks like I missed a day already, but thats ok. I don't have to be perfect about it. This picture is for friday January 15th. We had a little snow storm and the backyard looked nice with this sky and some snow. We are lucky to live in a nice apartment at a good price.
